Sewing Instructor

We're looking for a sewing instructor who loves the craft, loves people, and wants to help others learn.

What You'll Do

• Lead beginner classes, including an intro to your machine course for students who have never sewn before
• Teach foundational skills like threading, tension, and basic stitching
• Guide students through a fun, encouraging, hands-on experience
• Teach one-off specialty classes covering advanced skills, patterns, and techniques
• Support the growth of our craft school programming, including pattern drafting, pattern design, and artistic sewing like soft sculpture
• Help maintain a clean, organized studio space during and after class

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable demonstrating techniques and guiding complete beginners
• Experience with advanced sewing skills, including garment construction, pattern work, or textile arts
• Friendly, patient, and engaging personality
• Flexible availability across class formats and skill levels
• Available on weekends
  
  No formal teaching experience? That’s okay. We’ll coach you on how to lead classes and create a great student experience.

Social Media/Marketing Intern

We're looking for a creative, organized intern to help us grow our online presence and connect with our community.

What You'll Do

• Learn to create engaging content and graphics that reflect our brand and classes
• Learn to manage and schedule posts across Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
• Learn to track performance metrics and share insights to help shape our strategy
• Help us show up consistently and authentically online

What We're Looking For

• Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar)
• Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
• Genuine interest in craft, making is a big plus
