Create a structured tote bag.  Over two sessions, you'll work through pattern layout, interfacing, construction, and handle attachment to create a durable everyday bag.

What You'll Learn You'll master cutting fabric accurately, applying interfacing for structure, sewing interior pockets, constructing box corners, and attaching sturdy handles. By the end of the series, you'll have a completed tote and skills to customize future bag projects.

What's Included All materials are provided, including fabric, interfacing, lining, handles, and hardware. You'll take home your finished tote.

Who This Is For This workshop is for sewists comfortable with basic machine operation. You should know how to thread a machine and sew straight seams. Perfect if you want to advance into structured bag making with clean, professional results.

Additional Information: All supplies and tools are included. Basic sewing machine experience required. Participants must be 18 or older unless the class notes otherwise. Classes have limited availability. If a session is full, you can join the waitlist, but openings are not guaranteed. Tickets cannot be refunded or canceled. If you're unable to attend, please reach out to arrange a make-up class on a future date. We may take photos or short videos during workshops for marketing and social media. Signing up means you agree to let The MixMatch use images of you unless you notify us otherwise.

Cancellation Policy

All class sales are final. If you cannot attend your scheduled class, you may exchange your registration for another class of equal value, or choose a class of higher value by paying the difference. Exchanges must be made within 30 days of the original class date.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Made-to-order items are not eligible for returns. Due to the nature of classes and workshops, once you have placed your order, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued.
