The Village Craft Bash: An Archiving Gathering for New & Prospective Members | Thursday August 27th 6:30-8:30 PM
Join us for an evening of creating an archival box for your life work memories, light bites, meeting current members, and inviting new folx to join our radical chamber of commerce: The Communiversity Village.
The Craft Bash is an interactive archiving event centered on the practice of personal and family preservation. During this event, we'll gather to reflect on the importance of documenting our histories and creating spaces where our stories can be protected, remembered, and passed on.
Each participant will receive:
- An archival storage box
- Archival-safe decorating supplies to personalize the lid
- Archival papers to document the contents of their collection, including what you're preserving and why it matters
Bring photographs, letters, journals, newspaper clippings, recipes, programs, keepsakes, family documents, or other meaningful objects you'd like to organize and preserve. During the event, you'll begin building your personal archive by thoughtfully placing your items into your archival box while recording the stories behind them.
Whether you're preserving generations of family history or simply creating a safe home for cherished memories, this gathering is an invitation to honor the past while creating something that can be shared with future generations.
No prior experience is needed, and all materials are included.

Additional Information: All classes include a $10 supply fee. This is already included in the ticket price. Some workshops may involve heat, sharp tools, or other specialty materials, so participants must be 18 or older unless the class notes otherwise.Classes have limited availability. If a session is full, you can join the waitlist, but openings are not guaranteed.Tickets cannot be refunded, canceled, or rescheduled. If you're unable to attend, please reach out to us via email at hello@themixmatchfw.com. We may take photos or short videos during workshops for marketing and social media. Signing up means you agree to let The MixMatch use images of you unless you notify us otherwise.

We have a 30-day return policy on retail products (not classes, workshops, or events), which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Made-to-order items are not eligible for returns.
Due to the nature of classes and workshops, once you have placed your order, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued.
