Explore the art of tapestry weaving in this beginner-friendly workshop! Using a small loom and a variety of fibers, you'll learn how to weave colors, textures, and materials together to create your own unique textile artwork.
What You'll Learn
You'll learn the basics of setting up and working on a frame loom, including how to weave yarn and other fibers through the warp to build your design. We'll explore foundational weaving techniques, color combinations, and ways to incorporate different textures and fibers into your piece. Your instructor will guide you through each step as you develop your own woven composition.
What's Included
All materials are provided, including a small loom and a selection of yarns and fibers in different colors and textures. You'll leave with your tapestry and the foundational skills to continue exploring weaving.
Who This Is For
This workshop is perfect for beginners and anyone curious about fiber arts and textile making. No prior weaving experience is necessary. Come experiment with color, texture, and fiber while creating a small, one-of-a-kind piece of woven art.
Additional Information: All classes include a $10 supply fee. This is already included in the ticket price. Some workshops may involve heat, sharp tools, or other specialty materials, so participants must be 18 or older unless the class notes otherwise.Classes have limited availability. If a session is full, you can join the waitlist, but openings are not guaranteed.Tickets cannot be refunded, canceled, or rescheduled. We have a 30-day return policy on retail products (not classes, workshops, or events), which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Made-to-order items are not eligible for returns.
