Learn the art of saw piercing, a traditional metalsmithing technique used to cut intricate shapes and patterns directly into sheet metal. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design and cut your own pendant using a fine jeweler’s saw, then shape and finish it into a wearable piece of jewelry.

You’ll learn how to safely use a jeweler’s saw to cut curves, details, and patterns in metal while developing the precision and control needed for this foundational metalsmithing technique.

What You’ll Make

You’ll design and create one saw-pierced pendant, cutting your own pattern or shape from metal and finishing it into a wearable piece.

Who This Is For

This workshop is for anyone curious about metalsmithing and handmade jewelry, especially those interested in learning how intricate designs can be cut directly into metal. No previous metalsmithing experience is required.

Additional Information: All classes include a $10 supply fee. This is already included in the ticket price. Some workshops may involve heat, sharp tools, or other specialty materials, so participants must be 18 or older unless the class notes otherwise.Classes have limited availability. If a session is full, you can join the waitlist, but openings are not guaranteed.Tickets cannot be refunded, canceled, or rescheduled.
