Join us for an immersive stained glass intensive where you'll create your own functional stained glass tissue box. This extended workshop gives you more time to work through the stained glass process while learning foundational techniques including copper foiling, flux application, and soldering.

What You'll Learn

You'll work with precut glass pieces to construct your tissue box, wrapping each piece in copper foil before assembling and soldering the panels together. We'll cover proper foiling technique, flux application, soldering, and how to create clean, secure seams. With additional time built into this intensive, you'll be able to focus on the details of your piece and gain a deeper understanding of the stained glass process.

What's Included

All materials and tools are provided, including safety equipment. You'll create and take home your completed stained glass tissue box at the end of the intensive. You'll also receive guidance on the techniques and tools used so you can continue exploring stained glass on your own.

Who This Is For

This intensive is ideal for participants who already have some stained glass experience, particularly those who have taken a stained glass class at The MixMatch and are comfortable with basic foiling and soldering techniques. The extended format gives you the opportunity to build on those foundational skills while taking on a more involved project.

New to stained glass? Beginners are welcome, too. You don't need prior experience, but we recommend starting with one of our introductory stained glass workshops first so you can become familiar with the basic techniques before taking on this longer project.

Additional Information: All classes include a $10 supply fee. This is already included in the ticket price. Some workshops may involve heat, sharp tools, or other specialty materials, so participants must be 18 or older unless the class notes otherwise.Classes have limited availability. If a session is full, you can join the waitlist, but openings are not guaranteed.Tickets cannot be refunded, canceled, or rescheduled. If you're unable to attend, please reach out to us via email at hello@themixmatchfw.com. We may take photos or short videos during workshops for marketing and social media. Signing up means you agree to let The MixMatch use images of you unless you notify us otherwise.
